We regret to announce the cancellation of the Dairyland Balloon Jubilee at Seehafer Acres. The beautiful setting for balloons and the dairy state will be empty this year. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to secure the required large assembly permit due to a lack of cooperation by the Town of McMillan with the Sheriff’s Department, and our event organizers. Additionally, limited town road access posed significant challenges for event grounds access.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the many sponsors, the Seehafers, the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, volunteers, and pilots who generously offered their time and support. We are incredibly sorry to let the Marshfield community down. However, many of the balloonists are planning to visit Marshfield that weekend to paint the skies.
Please note that our second annual event, the Saluting Heroes Balloon Rally (www.salutingheroesballoonrally.com), will proceed as scheduled at the Hodag Country Fest grounds on July 31st and August 1st. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
